Caring for Your Lavāda Handbag

Lavāda handbags are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to care for. Not only are they durable, but they are also resistant to abrasion, rubbing, and tearing. Below are some straightforward tips for cleaning your bag so you can enjoy it for a very, very long time.

CLEANING YOUR HANDBAG

  • Dirt can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp lint-free cloth.
  • Try to remove all liquid or food spills immediately.
  • Never use harsh chemicals or solvents, such as bleach, alcohol, paint thinners, acetone, hydrogen peroxide, or detergent cleaners. Also, avoid vinegar, silicones, waxes, and agents like Armor All®.
  • Do use a mild soap and water solution. Example: mild shampoo diluted with water. Spot clean the stain, then rinse with a cloth soaked in water. Use a dry cotton cloth to absorb excess moisture.
  • Your Lavāda handbag is protected against color transfer. However, if certain items that have poor color fixation come in contact with your bag, it could transfer. If this occurs, immediately wipe with mild soap/shampoo and water solution, then dry with a white cotton cloth.
  • Do not mark with an ink pen as this may cause a permanent stain.
